? Do We Love with Our Heart

BADR CHACHA

BADR CHACHA
For a long time, we have heard many phrases that associate love with the heart, such as “I love you with all my heart,” “My heart loves you,” “You are in my heart,” but do we really love with our heart? Is the heart the place where we store our feelings and emotions? The simple answer is no.
The heart is not a place to store emotions or love. Love is not a physical location in our bodies. If we replaced a person’s heart with another, their emotions would not change, and their love for God or for other people would remain the same. Love does not reside in the physical heart, but in the soul and mind.
Love, in its essence, is a mental and spiritual experience, not just a reaction of the physical heart. The mind is the place of thinking and storage, it connects us to memories, experiences, and emotions that we go through. Therefore, emotions like love do not come from the heart, but are a result of interactions with our environment, with people, and with our experiences.
Thus, if a person’s heart is replaced with another, it does not mean that their feelings towards God or others will change. They will still love God, they will still carry the same feelings that arise from their soul and mind, because it is the soul and mind that move these emotions, not the physical heart.
Therefore, we must free ourselves from the misconception that ties love to the physical heart. We do not love with our heart; we love with our minds and souls. Love is not just a passing emotion that depends on a bodily organ, but rather a spiritual and mental experience, deeply rooted within us as humans, and not reliant on a physical heart.
I, Badr chacha , say to the world: We do not love with our heart, love is not in the heart, love is a spiritual and mental force, it resides within us, inside us, and does not depend on a bodily organ.
